More and more, National Aerospace Training graduates are realising their dreams, gaining the right mix of training and work experience (via NAT's affiliate, DirectAir Charter) to make employers take notice. Here are just some of the many success stories from recent times.
After obtaining my commercial license in January 2004, I went on to complete the Airline Transport Pilot License theory subjects before obtaining my Instrument Rating in October 2004. I entered into a coastal air surveillance program run by National Aerospace Training in December 2004 before moving up to Darwin to fly with DirectAir Charter, flying the Cessna 210, 310, 402 Partenavia and Piper Chieftain. I was then granted an opportunity to move to Perth flying the Cessna Conquest, a high performance twin turbine pressurised machine. I'm now in the interviewing process for QantasLink and Regional Express, which would never have been possible without the hours and experience gained in a short period with DirectAir.
"The company rewards hard work – I started out on their lowest grade aircraft and am now flying the flagship of their fleet in less than two and a half years."
-- Michael Dumbrell
